We measure visitors to our website using Google Analytics and GoSquared. This records what pages you view within our site, how you arrived at our site and some basic information about your computer. All of that information is anonymous – so we don’t know who you are; just that somebody visited our site.
The information we collect from analytics helps us understand what parts of our sites are doing well, how people arrive at our site and so on. Like most websites, we use this information to make our website better.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking if you wish.
We also deliver third party in-page advertisements using Google AdSense to help support us. To do so we embed code that they provide and we do not control ourselves. Some of this code may use technology such as cookies when they displaying advertisements on our site, which may also send advertisers information including your IP address, your ISP, the browser you used to visit our site, and in some cases, whether you have Flash installed. This is generally used for geotargeting purposes or showing certain ads based on specific sites visited to improve the relevancy of advertisement.
You can chose to disable or selectively turn off our cookies or third-party cookies in your browser settings, or by managing preferences in programs such as Norton Internet Security. However, this can affect how you are able to interact with our site as well as other websites.
If you sign up for the email newsletter we will record your email address in order to send you a weekly email containing a summary of content recently posted on the site. You have the ability to opt out of any of this communication at any time.
We will never provide your personal information or email address to any third parties without your express persmission.
