Wooshy powers instant text search on macOS

Ever had someone had to point out the piece of text or button you had to click because you couldn’t find it quick enough? Or maybe following along that guide that says “click button X” and you can’t seem to find it. Wooshy is a macOS tool that searches your UI and highlights the searched text.

Wooshy searches UI elements, labels, titles, values, tooltips, types etc. Its philosophy is to “avoid navigation” and instead improve search.

At the moment it is still in beta. On GitHub, there is a clear roadmap defined.
